Make an impact as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor supporting students in a contract role near Newport, NH. Youll provide valuable services during the 2026-2027 school year, helping a small caseload of students who need expertise in selective mutism. Qualifications and Experience:
Current and active New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) credential required Demonstrated experience providing clinical counseling to students, especially those with selective mutism Ability to manage caseload documentation and collaborate in team meetings Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills Passion for supporting student growth and well-being within a school environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver individual counseling services to three students, providing approximately six hours of direct support each week Complete administrative tasks, including session documentation and attendance at required meetings Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to promote positive student outcomes Develop individualized strategies tailored to student needs, focusing on those with selective mutism Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards This contract opportunity is structured for one, 8-hour day each week from start until June 21, 2027, offering a steady, focused commitment with a defined caseload.
