An exciting contract opportunity awaits an experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor looking to make a meaningful impact in a school setting near Newport, NH. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about supporting student well-being and providing tailored mental health services. In this role, you'll work directly with a small caseload of students, delivering specialized counseling and supporting each childs unique needs. The assignment spans the current through 2026-2027 school year, allowing for strong continuity of care. One full 8-hour day per week is projected, combining direct student work (approximately 6 hours) and additional time for documentation plus participation in meetings.
Key Qualifications:
Active New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) required Background in school-based counseling preferred Demonstrated expertise providing mental health counseling services to students with selective mutism Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain accurate administrative records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
