Job Description

Helping Hand Behavioral Health, an Addiction Treatment and Co-Occurring Substance Use & Mental Health program, is seeking a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor to assist in helping clients to achieve holistic, whole-person wellness and recovery. Seeking a FT Addictions Counselor to work Monday-Friday on the Dayshift. The preferred applicant will possess a NJ CADC with a Bachelors degree in a related field, or a
NJ LCADC
with a Masters degree in a related field. Some experience in the mental health field is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
Educate clients on the disease of addiction Assist clients in gaining solid relapse prevention skills Assist clients in gaining a solid recovery network Maintain abstinence through counseling and education Maintain mental health through psychiatric evaluations, counseling, and medication monitoring as appropriate Utilize evidence-based practices, monitor outcomes and harness quality assurance Day and evening availability Helping Hand Behavioral Health is an equal opportunity employer providing a diverse and inclusive work environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
