SENIOR CARE THERAPY

seeks a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to seniors in long-term care, assisted living, and community settings. In this role, you will deliver individual and group psychotherapy in both English and a second language, via on-site visits and telehealth, addressing depression, anxiety, adjustment, grief, and cognitive/behavioral challenges. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team and facility staff, complete timely documentation, participate in care planning, and contribute to a patient-centered, learning-focused culture. Responsibilities Provide individual and group psychotherapy to seniors in long-term care, assisted living, and community settings Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans Deliver services bilingually (English and second language) in both in-person and telehealth formats Monitor, document, and evaluate client progress using evidence-based interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, facility staff, and families to coordinate care Participate in care conferences and contribute to behavior and treatment planning Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, including HIPAAEngage in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development Support a collaborative, compassionate culture focused on improving seniors' quality of life Required Skills Bilingual counseling (English and at least one additional language) Clinical assessment and diagnosis (DSM-5-TR) Individual and group psychotherapy Geriatric/older adult mental health treatment Cognitive-behavioral and other evidence-based therapies Risk assessment and crisis intervention Clinical documentation and EMR use Telehealth service delivery and HIPAA compliance Interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare settings Care planning within long-term care and assisted living facilities
