  • 80,000 Per Year Description This full-time Behavioral Health Counselor position requires an LCSW and is based onsite in Trenton, NJ.
The role involves working within an integrated behavioral health program, providing real-time counseling in a primary care setting. Proficiency in electronic health record systems and strong communication skills are essential. Requirements Master's in Social Work (MSW) or PhD in Clinical Psychology Active New Jersey LCSW strongly preferred Experience with harm reduction and motivational interviewing preferred Comfortable with the pace of primary care and brief patient contacts Working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments Strong communication skills Bilingual in Spanish or Creole a plus Qualifications Experience in integrated care or community mental health Comfortable with electronic health record systems Ability to make quick, accurate clinical assessments Knowledge of psychopharmacology Experience in crisis intervention Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team Physical ability to perform light lifting, bending, and kneeling
