Degree/s:

Bachelor, Master, PhD in the field The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in providing 1-1 counseling for Youths/children with Special needs; Licensed clinicians with expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health is a plus. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will deliver evidence-based services providing in-home 1-1 counseling, assessments as needed, treatment plans, and support clients through individualized counseling. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, youths, and their families within a supportive and collaborative environment. Duties Provide individual, child & family counseling, and using evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA). Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and treatment planning protocol Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, care managers, other professionals, to coordinate care. Qualifications Bachelor degree, Master's degree, PhD in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential required. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Skilled in crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies for diverse populations is a plus but NOT mandatory. Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to engage clients effectively through direct support and patient assessment activities.
