Master's-Level Clinician - Co-Occurring Disorders IOP Corewell Behavioral Health Albuquerque, New Mexico Position Summary Corewell Behavioral Health is seeking a Master's-Level Clinician to provide psychosocial, therapy-based services in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs. The clinician will facilitate structured IOP groups, participate in client intakes, complete psychosocial assessments within their authorized scope, support treatment planning, and provide recovery-focused behavioral health interventions. The clinician will work under the clinical oversight and supervision of Corewell Behavioral Health's Clinical Director, LPCC-S. Clinicians must provide services within their education, training, licensure, credentialing, and supervision requirements. Primary Responsibilities Facilitate IOP groups addressing: Mental health symptoms Substance use and recovery Co-occurring disorders Relapse prevention Coping and emotional-regulation skills Trauma-informed recovery Communication and interpersonal skills Psychoeducation and wellness Participate in client intakes and screenings. Complete psychosocial assessments within the clinician's authorized scope. Assist with treatment plans, safety plans, relapse-prevention plans, and discharge planning. Provide evidence-based psychosocial interventions, including motivational interviewing and CBT-informed techniques. Monitor and document each client's participation, clinical presentation, progress, and response to interventions. Link individual group participation to the client's treatment goals and objectives. Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, chart review, and quality-improvement activities. Coordinate referrals to psychiatric, medical, detoxification, withdrawal-management, crisis, or higher levels of care when clinically indicated. Maintain compliance with

Required Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, substance use counseling, or a related behavioral health field. An active New Mexico license, credential, provisional license, associate-level license, internship status, or documented eligibility for supervised practice. Ability to facilitate structured therapeutic groups. Ability to complete psychosocial intakes, screenings, or assessments within the applicant's authorized scope. Ability to work with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, or co-occurring behavioral health needs. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and protect confidential health information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Successful completion of required credentialing, background screening, and reference checks. Preferred Qualifications Experience facilitating IOP, PHP, outpatient, residential, or community behavioral health groups. Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. LADAC, LSAA, CADC, or comparable substance use disorder training. Experience with ASAM Criteria or ASAM-informed level-of-care recommendations. Training in Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT).

Corewell Behavioral Health does not provide medication management, prescribing, detoxification, withdrawal management, or direct medical services. All services must be provided within the clinician's authorized scope of practice and applicable supervision requirements. Non-independently licensed clinicians will receive clinical oversight from Corewell's Clinical Director, LPCC-S, consistent with applicable New Mexico requirements, payer requirements, and Corewell policy.
