In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, trauma, behavioral issues, and co-occurring disorders through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fostering resilience and promoting well-being across various clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and telehealth platforms. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and behavior management techniques. Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage urgent cases involving PTSD, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), gender issues counseling, and chronic pain counseling. Utilize telehealth technology to provide remote counseling services while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems in accordance with medical terminology standards and clinical ethical guidelines. Engage in ongoing research and data collection to support evidence-based practice improvements and contribute to clinical research initiatives. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or equivalent certification. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; experience in pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, and evidence-based practices. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards. Experience working in outpatient settings, inpatient facilities, or telehealth environments with a focus on mental health counseling. Ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques and social work principles. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams; proficiency in EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
