Posting Details The Epi Duran Substance Use Treatment Center is a substance abuse treatment program that will include medically monitored withdrawal management and social rehabilitation in Las Vegas, NM. We serve clients that are struggling with substance use while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to connect patients to resources in effort to guide them toward their long term sobriety. This position exists to provide evidence base care through counseling services for patients receiving substance use treatment. This position ensures the program curriculum is delivered in accordance with organizational policy, New Mexico state counseling practice, NM administrative code, and the Joint Commission requirements. How does it get done? The job gets done by performing tasks such as: This individual will provide direct counseling services (individual and group) for patients that are diagnosed with substance abuse disorders and/or mental health disorders, complete Biopsychosocial and Comprehensive assessments, initiate and update treatment plans, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and coordinate discharge planning. They will work collaboratively with the clinical team to plan, direct, and review the work of clinical programming. Who are the customers? This job serves adult patients with chemical dependency and various co-occurring disorders. Ideal Candidate This job serves adult patients with chemical dependency and various co-occurring disorders. Minimum Qualification Licensure in New Mexico as an LMSW, LISW, LMHC, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or LPAT; or provisional licensure in New Mexico as an LMSW, or temporary licensure in New Mexico as an LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, or LPAT, with full licensure obtained within one (1) year of hire; and one (1) year of experience related to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above licensure requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1) year may substitute for the required experience.
