Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Live In House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential facility dedicated to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing homelessness, with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or other behavioral health needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a compassionate team, foster a safe and supportive environment, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, experience in social work or behavioral health, and a passion for working with high-risk populations in a culturally sensitive manner. This position includes live-in accommodations and requires a proactive approach to crisis management, safety, and resident well-being. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily household operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all activities and services provided to residents Provide direct support and guidance to residents, including crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral management techniques Oversee intake processes for new residents, including assessments related to mental health, substance use, and social needs Ensure resident confidentiality is maintained at all times while documenting case notes, incident reports, and progress updates using Microsoft Office tools Manage handling procedures in compliance with safety standards such as CPR and First Aid certifications Facilitate communication between residents, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies to promote holistic care and support Conduct regular safety checks, security protocols, and incident investigations to maintain a secure environment for all residents and staff Requirements Proven supervising experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields working with high-risk or underserved populations Demonstrated experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or youth populations Strong conflict management skills coupled with de-escalation techniques to handle crises effectively Knowledge of case management practices, behavioral health interventions, medication administration, and crisis intervention strategies Valid certifications including CPR, First Aid, manual handling training, and experience working with culturally diverse communities Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to work collaboratively with families and community partners Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while managing multiple responsibilities in a high-pressure environment This job is for Female only as it is a female only home mandated by court.
