The Respite position's main role is to maintain the safety of residents in the facility. Respite workers work directly with staff and our clientele. Respite staff have the most client contact out of any staff of Hospitality House as the are constantly interfacing with our community. Tasks include but are not limited to: Individual and Group meetings with clients, De-Escalation, Crisis Response, addressing client behaviors processing new admissions, room safety checks, facility perimeter checks, fire safety checks, monitor residents and monitoring of camera feeds. We are looking for someone with a CASAC, or bachelors in a related Human Services field. A strong

CRPA/CARC

with years experience may also be considered. Experience working in substance-use services or residential care preferred Drivers License required Staff are encouraged to submit a cover letter / letter of interest in why they think they would be a good fit for the position. This position requires strong communication and writing skills. Hospitality House is an intensive residential treatment program for substance use disorder licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports. Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:

residential care: 2 years (Required) substance use disorder treatment: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
