As the Residence Counselor , you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through: Work within a 24-hour community residence to provide rehabilitative support for individuals with behavioral health issues, focusing on promoting individual recovery processes tailored to residents' needs and desires. Develop and implement Individual Action Plans (IAPs) by delivering approved Medicaid billable services and teaching independent living skills such as nutrition, housekeeping, personal hygiene, money management, socialization, and utilizing community resources. Document all necessary information accurately and in a timely manner, including assessments, monthly summaries, progress notes, and medication supervision. Respond effectively to emergencies, demonstrating appropriate assessment skills and crisis intervention techniques, while also providing supervision to residents during medication administration. Assist in training new residence counselor staff, act as a role model for residents, maintain site safety and cleanliness, attend scheduled meetings and trainings, and address any problems or concerns under the supervision of the program.
Residence Counselor Minimum Salary:
$18.00 per hour
Residence Counselor Maximum Salary:
$18.00 per hour
Residence Counselor Schedule:
40 hours per week
Qualifications:
