Job Description
COPAY, Inc., is a not-for-profit community mental health organization dedicated to high-quality outpatient treatment and prevention services, is seeking a dynamic fully licensed therapist to provide clinical services to children, adolescents and adults.
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 10AM- 6PM Location:
In-Person Responsibilities:
- Complete screening and intake assessments
- Maintain a caseload of clients; conducting individual, family and group counseling
- Complete and maintain all necessary documentation through electronic record keeping in a timely and organized manner
- Stay up to date with OASAS compliance and regulations
- Support crisis response, incident reporting, and client safety
- Coordinate and collaborate with staff members in the Clinical program as well as the Prevention program
- Attend clinical supervision & utilization review
- Participate/Attend trainings, and outreach initiatives, as needed
Qualifications:
- Active/Valid New York State LMSW or LMHC required
- Knowledge and experience with substance use counseling/OASAS
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality (HIPAA/CFR-42), and high-quality care
- Excellent clinical, communication, documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
- Bilingual English and Spanish (spoken & written) required
