Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Crisis Pre-Screener to join our Athens, OH Behavioral Health team. As a Crisis Pre-screener , you will be responsible for assessing children and adults suffering from acute symptoms of mental illness to determine dangerousness to self or others and the need for hospitalization or other interventions. •The hours for this position will primarily be 9:00PM-9:00AM (Shift differential may apply) What do we look for in our Crisis Pre-screeners?? Authorized to work in the United States Master's Degree in a mental health related field and licensure by the Ohio CSWMFT Board. BSW, LSW, or Ohio RN considered Two years' experience in the mental health field Independent licensure and specialty training in crisis, hospital prescreening, and DBMT preferred Residency in surrounding areas of Athens, Hocking, or Vinton counties is preferred. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to be sensitive to the cultural needs of the clients and their families. Good verbal and written communication skills Must be at least 21 with a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record. Must be personable, reliable, and organized.
