Defiance College seeks a licensed or license-eligible (Ohio) Staff Clinician to be responsible for providing individual and group counseling. The Staff Clinician will assist with crisis response (which may require evening and weekend response), conduct mental health and wellness outreach programs, and provide training and consultation on college student mental health. The Staff Clinician is also responsible for providing linking and follow-up services to students who are identified as students of concern or who need help identifying necessary campus or community resources. This is a full time 12-month administrative appointment with an immediate start date. Candidates must have a Master's degree in counseling or a related field and have valid Ohio counselor, social work, or psychologist licensure or 5 years of licensure in another state (must become licensed in Ohio within six months of appointment). Prior experience working with college students is preferred.
