The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based therapy and support to diverse populations, including children and adolescents as well as their families. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering various therapeutic modalities to promote mental wellness and recovery. The Therapist will work in a collaborative environment that values professionalism, confidentiality, and client-centered care. Duties Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9, ICD-10, and other relevant coding systems. Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention therapy using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clients' needs and goals while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate medical documentation. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling sessions when appropriate. Manage case documentation including medical records, progress notes, and treatment summaries with attention to medical terminology and ICD coding standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling, crisis management, behavior management, and social work. Provide crisis management support and intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health issues or emergencies. Support clients through intake processes and conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate levels of care. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, or behavioral therapy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health disorders and familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems. Excellent skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Experience delivering telehealth services effectively while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices like applied behavior analysis (ABA) or psychopharmacology when applicable. Compassionate communication skills suitable for working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, special education students, or individuals with gender issues counseling needs. Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation efficiently within a clinical setting.
