Contract Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, utilizing techniques appropriate for the client's age and background. Offer addiction counseling and support to clients struggling with substance use disorders. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with ICD-9 coding standards and confidentiality regulations. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy and counseling. Support clients with developmental disabilities through direct support services tailored to their unique needs. Facilitate family counseling sessions to improve communication and relationships within families. Work effectively in outpatient settings independently Requirements - 10 hours a week Min hours required Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of practice. Experience in addiction counseling is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of patient care. Strong background in child family counseling, geriatrics, special education, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
