Work Environment This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct counseling sessions via telehealth technology from the comfort of your own space. As part of a supportive team, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive care strategies and share best practices. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations of patients to assess their mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans focused on recovery and coping strategies. Engage in regular counseling sessions with trauma injury patients, offering genuine support and active listening to facilitate their healing process. Diagnose mental or emotional disorders using established clinical frameworks and work collaboratively with patients to design actionable treatment plans. Develop and implement coping strategies for patients, educating them on stress management techniques and facilitating workshops when appropriate. Track patient progress and modify treatment approaches based on ongoing evaluations, ensuring personalized and effective care. Coordinate with external social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to ensure comprehensive support for your patients. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and enhance your skillset. Actively contribute to lightfully's mission by providing evaluations and support to patients exhibiting trauma-related symptoms, addressing a critical need within the community. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients, who often face unique mental and emotional challenges. You will work empathetically to help these individuals process their experiences, develop resilience, and work toward their personal goals. This role requires a sensitive approach to understanding trauma, as well as an ethos centered on patient empowerment and recovery. Qualifications A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field. A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential to practice in the state of Washington. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating expertise in therapeutic techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong computer skills are essential for documentation and communication. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective patient interaction and collaboration within the team. Preferred Experience Familiarity with Salesforce and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline patient management and documentation processes. Experience in developing educational materials or programs regarding trauma coping mechanisms or related topics. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from
USD 80,000
to
USD 100,000
per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
