Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Part-Time Couples Counselor. In this role, you will provide expert mental health counseling services focused on strengthening relationships and supporting families through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Your work will help clients navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges, fostering healthier connections within their relationships and communities. Duties Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and relationship dynamics. Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement evidence-based counseling interventions tailored to clients' unique circumstances, including trauma-informed care and crisis management strategies. Facilitate group therapy sessions when appropriate, fostering peer support and shared learning experiences. Collect and document clinical data accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with clients on treatment planning, goal setting, and progress evaluation through ongoing assessments. Engage in case management activities, including crisis intervention, community resource linkage, and follow-up care coordination. Maintain professional development by staying current with research, clinical ethical guidelines, ICD coding updates (ICD-10/ICD-9), and healthcare diagnosis standards relevant to mental health practice. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working with couples. Proven expertise in couples therapy, family therapy, and child & family counseling techniques. Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices including motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-informed care. Experience working with diverse populations including children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and those requiring special education or pediatric care. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering clinical services remotely while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards. Excellent skills in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches. Strong communication skills for client engagement, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration within healthcare teams.
