Overview Westbrook Youth and Family Services (WYFS) is seeking a qualified Licensed Clinician to provide outpatient psychotherapy services on a per diem basis. The clinician will provide individual, family, and couples counseling to children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive and collaborative environment. Services will be provided both in-office and through Telehealth, offering flexibility while ensuring accessible, high-quality behavioral health care. Duties Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental health assessments. Diagnose mental health conditions using standard diagnostic criteria like the DSM. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Formulate, monitor, and update client treatment plans and goals. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, psychiatrists, and school administrators. Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and case notes. Connect clients to e Skills Valid State of CT professional license (e.g.

LCSW, LMFT, LPC

) allowing independent practice without supervision. Clinicians with an LMSW are encouraged to apply Strong working knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, SFBT, ACT, EMDR, etc.). Prior experience providing psychotherapy. Excellent active listening, communication, and crisis-management skills. Being organized and detail oriented.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or other related field required. At least 1 year of experience working with behavioral health service delivery to children, adolescents, couples and families is required.
