Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing mental health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, client-centered mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will have the opportunity to help clients navigate emotional and behavioral challenges, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal goals using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs, strengths, and goals. Provide individual, family, group, and/or child and adolescent therapy based on experience and clinical expertise. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, behavioral interventions, and other appropriate treatment modalities. Provide support to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other mental health needs. Provide crisis assessment and intervention when clinically appropriate. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation using an electronic health record (EHR/EMR) system. Follow HIPAA requirements, ethical standards, organizational policies, and applicable state and federal regulations. Collaborate with other clinicians, healthcare professionals, families, schools, and community resources when appropriate to support continuity of care. Participate in clinical consultation, team meetings, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Required Active and unrestricted LCSW or LPC license in the state of NJ. Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Ability to establish positive therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Preferred Experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services. Training or experience in CBT, trauma-informed therapy, motivational interviewing, grief counseling, or other evidence-based approaches. Experience supporting clients with trauma, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, or complex behavioral health needs. Experience providing telehealth services. Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, clinical documentation, ICD-10 diagnostic coding, and CPT billing codes. Why Join Our Team? We believe great client care starts with supporting our clinicians.
