Job Description

PRN Independent Contractor — Two Positions Available Yahweh's Loving Care Behavioral Health is a growing behavioral health organization located in Cape Coral, Florida. We recently began providing services and are expanding our outpatient mental health, substance-use and intensive outpatient programs. We are seeking two compassionate, dependable licensed clinicians who want to grow with our organization. Because we are still building our caseload, this is a PRN position with no guaranteed minimum number of clients or hours at the beginning. Hours are expected to increase as referrals, insurance contracts and authorizations are received. Haitian Creole-speaking clinicians are strongly preferred. We especially welcome clinicians who understand the needs of Haitian and other underserved communities.

Compensation:
$38 per approved hour In-person services in Cape Coral and Florida telehealth Flexible scheduling based on clinician availability and client needs No guaranteed hours or caseload Two positions available No employee benefits, PTO or paid holidays
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, family and group therapy Complete biopsychosocial and mental-health assessments Develop and update individualized treatment plans Complete progress notes and other required documentation accurately and on time Conduct risk and safety screenings and follow YLC's crisis procedures Participate in care coordination and discharge planning Maintain professional communication with clients, families and the treatment team Follow HIPAA, payer, AHCA, DCF and YLC documentation requirements Complete routine documentation within the assigned and approved service time Maintain availability information and respond promptly regarding assigned referrals Minimum qualifications: Active, unrestricted Florida license as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or psychologist Eligible to provide and bill for behavioral health services in Florida Current individual NPI Current CAQH profile or willingness to complete one promptly Professional liability insurance Ability to pass all required background screening Reliable internet, private workspace and appropriate equipment for telehealth Experience with electronic health records Strong documentation and time-management skills Preferred qualifications: Fluency in Haitian Creole Experience serving children, adolescents and families Experience with trauma, substance use, domestic violence, human trafficking, veterans or underserved populations Experience with Medicaid, commercial insurance or EAP documentation Training in CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing or trauma-informed care Insurance credentialing: YLC is actively expanding its Medicaid, commercial insurance and EAP relationships. Selected clinicians must provide all documents needed for payer enrollment and credentialing. The start of client assignments may depend on credentialing approval, referrals, authorizations and client demand. Who would be a good fit? The ideal candidates are patient, flexible, responsive and interested in helping us build a high-quality program—not someone expecting a full caseload immediately.
