diagnostic criteria. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy interventions consistent with education, training, licensure, and competence. Establish therapeutic relationships with clients and support progress toward individualized treatment goals. Collaborate with clients, families, physicians, schools, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate. Provide clinical recommendations and referrals when additional services or supports are indicated. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and practice policies. Utilize electronic medical record systems to document services, treatment progress, and clinical recommendations. Participate in consultation, professional development, and ongoing improvement of clinical services.
