In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy and support services across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and through telehealth platforms. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform diagnosis and treatment planning. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute psychiatric episodes effectively while ensuring client safety. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations to track progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Facilitate intake evaluations, patient care coordination, and case management activities to support holistic recovery efforts. Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records management, ensuring compliance with clinical ethical guidelines and medical terminology standards. Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance evidence-based practice and improve service quality. Requirements Demonstrated commitment to social justice, cultural humility, and serving underserved or marginalized populations Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health clinician (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor) Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), co-occurring disorders, or PTSD. Strong skills in psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and trauma-focused approaches. Proficiency in crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies within inpatient or outpatient settings. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards. Experience delivering telehealth therapy services using secure platforms in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health assessments and treatments; experience working with EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
