Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. This role requires working collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and facilitate their journey towards improved mental health and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address a range of mental health issues. Offer addiction counseling and support for clients struggling with substance use disorders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital or clinical setting to ensure holistic care for clients. Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to support clients in understanding their medication management. Provide grief counseling and support for individuals coping with loss or significant life changes. Work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs. Stay informed on medical terminology and behavioral health trends to enhance therapeutic practices. Skills Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques and best practices. Proficiency in managing medical records and documentation processes. Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles related to mental health treatment. Experience in addiction counseling, including understanding the complexities of substance use disorders. Ability to implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) effectively. Compassionate approach when working with individuals experiencing grief or loss. Experience working with people who have developmental disabilities, demonstrating patience and adaptability. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
