Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team! In exchange, the role may include more administrative tasks than some clinicians have handled in prior settings. The practice is meant for therapists who value autonomy but may not want to manage every more complicated administrative piece tied to billing and insurance alone. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical records standards, and clinical ethical guidelines; ensure timely updates in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, patient care coordination, and medical documentation to optimize client outcomes. Conduct mental health assessments for patients. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions while adhering to clinical standards for telehealth therapy practices. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) with current certification in good standing. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavior management strategies. Ability to perform mental health assessments using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) and conduct intake interviews effectively. Proficiency in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams; telehealth experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations efficiently while maintaining professionalism; experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is beneficial.
