Independent Contract Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW) Blue Phoenix Therapy | Rio Rancho, NM 1099 Independent Contractor Blue Phoenix Therapy is a small, growing private practice seeking an independently licensed New Mexico therapist who wants the autonomy of private practice without having to build every administrative system from the ground up. This is not a W-2 position . This opportunity is designed for a clinician who wants to build and manage their own private-practice caseload while having many of the less-fun administrative pieces—billing, credentialing support, EHR, marketing, office space, and established practice systems—already in place. There is no expectation to begin with or maintain a full caseload . Clinicians can build gradually and create a practice that works for them. Your Practice, Your Way Independent contractors determine their own: Schedule and availability Caseload size Populations served Clinical specialties and areas of focus Treatment approaches within their training and competence Mix of in-person and telehealth services Clinicians manage their own scheduling, availability, and routine communication with their clients. Blue Phoenix Therapy Provides Furnished therapy office space in Rio Rancho TherapyNotes EHR Billing and claims submission support Insurance credentialing support Client payment processing Referral opportunities Practice marketing and website presence Telehealth capability Established practice forms and administrative systems A small, collaborative practice environment with substantial professional autonomy Qualifications Current, unrestricted independent New Mexico behavioral health license as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW Master's degree in a behavioral health field Professional liability/malpractice insurance Ability to practice independently within scope of licensure Strong ethical and professional standards Timely and clinically appropriate documentation and treatment planning Compensation Compensation is based on completed sessions and session revenue actually collected by the practice, which may vary by payer and service provided . Sessions 1-20 per week: 60% to contractor Sessions 21 and above: 70% to contractor The 70% rate applies only to completed sessions 21 and above. There is no guarantee of compensation, caseload size, or minimum number of referrals. Interested?
