At Bloom Within Mental Health Counseling, P.C., we are seeking a Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (LP-MHC) to join our practice. This role is ideal for a clinician who values depth-oriented work and being part of a thoughtful, collaborative environment. We value strong therapeutic relationships and creating a space where both clients and clinicians can grow. Office space will be available on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to start. Telehealth sessions can be scheduled on other days when not in the office. Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and patient care goals, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral emergencies. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, maintaining high-quality patient communication and documentation standards within EHR systems. Attend weekly supervision meetings. Requirements Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling or an equivalent program that meets New York State Education Department (NYSED) requirements. Completion of New York State-required coursework/training in the identification and reporting of child abuse. Must maintain professional documentation, participate in supervision, and comply with all applicable NYSED, agency, ethical, and confidentiality requirements. Experience working with children, youth, and families in clinical settings in your practicum/ internship. Demonstrated ability to perform mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.

Pay:

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
