Job Summary Dove Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) licensed in New Jersey to join our growing private practice. This position is ideal for clinicians who are actively working toward obtaining their LCSW or LPC and are looking for quality clinical supervision in a supportive private practice setting. This is a part time or full time W2 position. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality mental health care to a diverse population and values collaboration, professional growth, and evidence-based treatment. Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized service plans. Provide counseling and support with a variety of clients in person and telehealth. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in making positive life changes. Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies. Participate in weekly in person supervisory meetings (option for some virtual meetings, no more than 50% of the time). Learn how to navigate the insurance/reimbursement systems. Skills Eager to learn to be an effective psychotherapist in a private practice setting. Experience in childcare practices is a plus for working with families. Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to receive constructive feedback in order to grow professionally.
