In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Responsibilities Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating evidence. Implement crisis intervention strategies to effectively manage urgent situations involving clients experiencing severe emotional distress or behavioral crises. Provide specialized support for populations with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, chronic pain, addiction issues, grief, gender issues, and geriatrics. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that include case management, medical documentation, patient care coordination, and social work services. Utilize telehealth platforms to extend mental health services remotely while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and data security. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using CPT coding for billing purposes while adhering to medical terminology standards. Qualifications Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law for clinical practice. Proven experience in behavioral health settings such as outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities with a focus on mental health counseling. Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities including psychotherapy techniques like motivational interviewing and crisis management. Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnostic. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and diverse populations such as geriatrics or pediatrics. Skills in crisis management, behavior management strategies, patient assessment, and medical record keeping aligned with HIPAA standards. Proficiency in telehealth technology platforms combined with excellent communication skills for effective remote counseling sessions.
