Job Description
Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) A small boutique group practice in Rockland County (West Nyack, NY) is seeking a Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated clinician who is passionate about providing high-quality psychotherapy and values collaboration, professional growth, and meaningful clinical work. An interest in working with couples and families is preferred.
Position Details:
- Fee-for-service W-2 position
- Hybrid schedule with 1-2 days per week in the office
- Minimum caseload commitment of 15 clients per week
Compensation:
$45-$50 per clinical session depending on experience- High-quality individual supervision
- Peer consultation/group supervision
- Opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced clinicians in a supportive, collegial environment
Qualifications:
- New York MHC-LP eligible
- Strong clinical skills and sound clinical judgment
- Experience providing psychotherapy to adults (18+ ) is required
- Interest or experience working with couples and families is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
