Job Description
A New Leaf Counseling is a small private practice in Rio Rancho seeking an independently licensed New Mexico therapist (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) interested in a part-time independent contractor opportunity. This is not a W-2 employee opportunity. This may be a good fit for a clinician who enjoys the independence and flexibility of private practice but would prefer to have some of the less-fun administrative pieces taken care of. There is no expectation to begin with a full caseload—or ever maintain one. You can build gradually and maintain a caseload that works for you. What the therapist will do
- Choose the client populations they wish to serve and provide therapy within their areas of competence and independent licensure
- Provide in-person and/or telehealth services based on clinician preference and client needs
- Complete timely, clinically appropriate documentation and treatment planning
- Maintain applicable professional, ethical, and licensing standards
- Manage their own availability, scheduling, and routine client communication
- Coordinate use of shared office space as needed What the practice provides
- Comfortable furnished office space in Rio Rancho
- TherapyNotes EHR
- Billing, claims, and credentialing support
- Referral sources
- Flexibility in schedule and caseload
- A low-key, collegial practice environment with substantial professional autonomy Qualifications Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted independent New Mexico behavioral health license (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent), maintain professional liability insurance, and be able to practice independently within their scope of licensure.
