Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Private Practice Clinician to join our mental health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality clinical services in a flexible, outpatient setting. As a clinician, you will deliver evidence-based therapies, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to support clients across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards, to determine client needs and treatment pathways Provide individual, group, child & youth therapy, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes, including crisis management and behavior management techniques Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and medical records protocols, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, maintaining high-quality patient care through virtual modalities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, patient care coordination, and research initiatives to enhance service delivery Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical terminology documentation Requirements Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field from an accredited institution Valid licensure or certification as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), psychologist, or equivalent credentialing for Michigan. Experience working with children, adolescents, co-occurring disorders, PTSD care, addiction counseling or geriatrics preferred Strong skills in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, grief counseling, EMDR, or ART therapy. Experience working within outpatient settings or private practice environments; inpatient experience is a plus Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards is essential. This can also be taught over time. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and telehealth technology to deliver seamless patient care Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams Commitment to ethical guidelines including HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical standards

The Space:

Individual/ private non-furnished office space would be included in contract. All insurance billing and coding fees would be covered by company at a rate of 8% of total pre tax revenue (per indivdual insurance contract).

Terms:

Company is open to 1099 contract or W2 fixed income employment dependent on need/license status. Company willing to offer free paid trainings if the professional desires to continue their education. Hybrid role - meaning the clinician gets to decide how often they would like to see patients in the office or remote. Due to small community, and desire for outreach, office setting is preferred.
