ASAM 2.1

Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorder treatment program seeking a Virginia-licensed LPC or LCSW for flexible, part-time/as-needed clinical work. This position is ideal for an independently licensed clinician seeking supplemental income through remote assessments, treatment planning, clinical-documentation review, and occasional clinical consultation.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

Starting at $40 per hour Part-time/as-needed employment Primarily remote No guaranteed minimum or maximum number of weekly hours Assignments scheduled according to referrals, client census, coverage needs, and mutual availability Occasional in-person orientation, training, or meetings may be requested Compensation may be reviewed after the 90-day introductory period based on performance, responsibilities, census, and available program revenue

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

When scheduled, the clinician may be responsible for: Completing and documenting intake, biopsychosocial, substance-use, risk, severity, and ASAM assessments Establishing appropriate DSM-5 diagnoses and clinical formulations within the clinician's scope Making level-of-care and treatment recommendations Developing initial individualized treatment/service plans Reviewing subsequent treatment-plan updates and assigned clinical documentation Reviewing assigned CSAC progress notes and group documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness Returning deficient documentation to the original author for correction Reviewing and signing documents requiring licensed-clinician review Participating in occasional scheduled case consultations, clinical meetings, orientation, or training Immediately reporting safety, ethical, medical, scope-of-practice, or level-of-care concerns All assignments must be authorized and scheduled in advance. Ascending Partners LLC will establish an approved time allowance for each assignment based on its type and complexity. The clinician will be paid $40 per hour for actual authorized time worked.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Active, unrestricted Virginia LPC or LCSW license Authorized to practice independently in Virginia Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Reliable communication and timely completion of assigned work Ability to maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards Substance-use treatment and ASAM experience preferred IOP, Medicaid, DMAS, or DBHDS experience preferred Must complete all required background checks, credentialing, orientation, and employment documentation This position is not available to residents, supervisees, interns, trainees, or license-eligible applicants.
