We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate therapists who are genuinely interested in making a positive difference in the lives of the individuals and families they serve. We are looking for clinicians who are self-motivated, dependable, and interested in actively participating in the development of their caseload and professional practice. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Some services may be provided remotely via telehealth; however, clinicians must be willing and able to travel to clients when in-person or community-based services are clinically appropriate or required. Candidates must also be comfortable and willing to provide services to both children and adults. Bilingual clinicians are strongly preferred , particularly those fluent in English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole . Responsibilities Therapists are responsible for providing behavioral health services to Stellar Health Services clients in accordance with clinical, ethical, payer, and agency requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Provide individual and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a variety of behavioral health needs. Conduct clinical assessments, formulate diagnoses within scope of practice, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor treatment progress. Provide group psychotherapy when applicable. Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation, including progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and treatment plan reviews. Coordinate care with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, case managers, schools, caregivers, and other members of the client's treatment team, as clinically appropriate and in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Utilize a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to treatment and continuity of care. Provide services through a combination of telehealth, office-based, and community-based settings , depending on client needs, payer requirements, and clinician availability. Maintain all applicable licenses, registrations, certifications, continuing education, and professional requirements. Participate in quality assurance and peer-review activities as required. Complete other clinically appropriate responsibilities related to assigned cases. Minimum Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related behavioral health discipline. Current Florida professional license or registered intern status, including LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist/PsyD, RCSWI, RMHCI, or RMFTI , as applicable. Behavioral health experience working with children and/or adults; candidates must be open to serving both pediatric and adult populations as part of their caseload. Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole strongly preferred. Strong clinical documentation, organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Comfortable utilizing EHR systems, telehealth platforms, Microsoft Office, and other standard clinical technology. Ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Must successfully complete all required background screening and onboarding requirements. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Community-Based Services & Transportation Although remote/telehealth opportunities are available , this is not a fully remote position . Clinicians must be willing and able to provide in-person services when needed, including traveling to clients in community, at the office, or natural-environment settings. Credentialing Licensed clinicians may be required to complete credentialing and enrollment with applicable Medicaid, Medicare, and/or commercial insurance plans. Stellar Health Services provides guidance and credentialing support as applicable; specific requirements will be discussed during the interview and onboarding process.
