Work Environment This position operates fully remotely, allowing you to deliver care through our telehealth platform. You will engage with clients via secure video and messaging services, providing flexibility and convenience in therapeutic interactions while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. As part of a dedicated remote team, you will have access to comprehensive support systems to streamline client care and enhance your work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans based on assessed needs. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to various client groups, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and administrative staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for each client. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software proficiently. Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training in the latest mental health research and practices. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will provide support to a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. You will play a crucial role in empowering clients, assisting them in navigating life's complexities, and fostering resilience and coping strategies. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. Possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting. Solid understanding of ethical and legal standards governing the counseling profession. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team. Proficient in using EMR software and other technology platforms to manage client information. Preferred Experience Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or addiction counseling is highly desirable. Experience in providing telehealth services, adapting approaches to suit remote communication. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from
USD 70,000
to 90,000 annually, based on experience and available caseload.
