Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teen Therapist with licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services tailored to adolescents, college students, and young adults supporting their emotional well-being and developmental needs. Your expertise will help empower teens to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve positive outcomes through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate teens' mental health status, developmental history, and social functioning. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to adolescent needs. Provide individual counseling sessions focused on issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorders, and other behavioral health concerns. Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at social skills development, peer support, and psychoeducation for adolescents. Engage in family counseling to strengthen communication and support systems within the teen's environment. Implement crisis intervention strategies promptly and effectively during acute mental health episodes or emergencies. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, psychiatrists, educators, and community providers to coordinate care plans.
