Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' backgrounds, current situations, and any previous experiences impacting their mental health. Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on resilience and coping strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective interventions. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their traumas and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to produce comprehensive and integrated care for all patients. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current, valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of New Jersey.
