Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma backgrounds, ensuring the development of personalized treatment strategies. Utilize evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. Active licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida. Minimum of 2 years experience in providing mental health therapy, particularly in settings that emphasize trauma-informed care. Comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor. Adeptness in managing high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
