Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Lead Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients, including group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning and to be a support to the team of inpatient therapists and case managers.

Position Summary:

Lead therapeutic group sessions for diverse patient populations, including crisis stabilization, geriatric, adolescent, and adult behavioral health populations Supervise and aid in the professional development of intern and practicum students Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including group notes and treatment updates Provide support and leadership across the social services department in verbal de-escalation techniques Educate patients on coping skills, symptom management, relapse prevention, stress reduction, and wellness strategies Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care recommendations when appropriate

Education:

Master's degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling or a similar educational degree required. Licensure required

Experience:

A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Must have strong clinical assessment skills. Addiction recovery and suicide prevention experience preferred.
