As a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are expanding behavioral health services throughout Spartanburg and Cherokee County schools. We are seeking compassionate, mission-driven Licensed School-Based Counselors to work in Cherokee County Schools, who is passionate about improving student well-being, strengthening families, and removing barriers to care. This is more than a counseling positionits an opportunity to create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of children, adolescents, and the communities we serve. Key Responsibilities Provide direct behavioral and mental health counseling services to students within school settings. Deliver individual, family, and crisis counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Conduct behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school staff, and families to support student success. Serve as a trusted behavioral health resource within the school community. Connect students and families to additional healthcare and community support services. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation within EMR systems. Participate in interdisciplinary care coordination and team meetings.
