School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison (SBBHL)

According to the School Year Calendar Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison (SBBHL) to support students, families, and school staff through trauma-informed behavioral health services and interventions. Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health education and training to school staff.
  • Support implementation of trauma-informed practices and MTSS frameworks.
  • Conduct student screenings, consultations, and psychoeducational groups.
  • Participate in IEP, 504, and other school support meetings.
  • Connect students and families with behavioral health resources and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and monthly reports.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, families, and community partners. Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related Behavioral Science field.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or schools preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to school schedules and policies.
