Job Description
Job Summary Counsels individuals and groups in an outpatient setting to promote optimum mental health. Assists individuals deal with thoughts of suicide; addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and other issues associated with mental and emotional health. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Experience:
Preferred Two or more years working in an outpatient mental health setting
Certification/Licensure:
Required Clinical License:
LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPA (with Independent Licensure) issued by the Texas State Board Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date SAFE Approach Level III Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
