Program Clinician is responsible for providing substance use disorder treatment services primarily to clients participating in the

USPO/USPT

program . The clinician will maintain an assigned caseload and provide individual counseling, group counseling, treatment planning, documentation, and coordination of care in accordance with program requirements and applicable regulatory standards. While the primary focus of this position is the

USPO/USPT

population, the clinician may also provide clinical support to the HHS and IOP programs as needed to meet program and client needs. Work Schedule Monday through Friday Schedule will be based on program needs and may include a combination of individual sessions, group services, documentation time, and team meetings. The clinician is expected to maintain consistent availability throughout the assigned workweek to support the needs of the

program and assist with HHS and IOP services as needed. Primary Responsibilities Maintain an assigned caseload of

USPO/USPT

clients and provide consistent clinical services throughout their participation in the program. Conduct individual counseling sessions based on client treatment needs and program requirements. Facilitate scheduled psychoeducational and/or therapeutic groups. Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and ensure treatment interventions are aligned with identified client needs. Monitor client progress and document clinical interventions, participation, progress, barriers, and treatment needs. Complete required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines. Utilize evidence-based and client-centered approaches to support substance use recovery and behavioral health goals. Coordinate care with internal team members and outside providers, probation/parole personnel, and other authorized supports as appropriate and within applicable releases of information. Support clients in developing recovery skills, relapse-prevention strategies, coping skills, accountability, and community-based recovery supports. Communicate relevant clinical concerns and changes in client presentation to appropriate members of the treatment team. Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, supervision, and program meetings as required. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, funding requirements, and applicable documentation standards. Assist with HHS and IOP clinical services, including individual sessions and groups, when program needs require additional clinical coverage. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or LCDC Intern (LCDC-I) in the State of Texas. Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders preferred. Experience providing individual and group counseling preferred. Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment principles, recovery-oriented practices, and relapse-prevention strategies. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work effectively with clients involved in criminal justice or community supervision systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, medical, case management, and administrative staff. Must maintain all required credentials and training applicable to the position.
