Job Description
Overview Hiring PRN Behavioral Therapist's with a flexible schedule to suit your needs! We are looking for a Behavioral Therapist to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Therapist are to provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling and support services for a mixed caseload. This position will assist with the development of treatment plans, conducts individual family assessments and consults with attending psychiatrist or medical director concerning treatment plan and plan of care. The therapist will document interventions, provide referrals to outside resources and collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. The essential functions of this position are those tasks, duties, and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job's purpose and objectives. Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. The Therapist reports and is accountable to the Director of Social Services. Qualifications Master's in Social Work with independent licensure in LICSW or LMFT with supervision ability preferred. LPC and LGSW's will also be considered. Current BLS certification required. Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.
