Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, grief counseling, and child & youth therapy. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management techniques, ensuring client safety and stabilization. Document all clinical interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and case managers to coordinate patient care and support co-occurring disorders treatment. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care, ICD coding updates, and telehealth therapy advancements. Requirements Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling or related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential required. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; experience with pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus. Strong knowledge of clinical counseling techniques including psychotherapeutic modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA).
