Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) to serve as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Therapist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive mental health services within a dynamic clinical setting. As a PHP Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing individualized treatment plans, conducting mental health assessments, and supporting clients through their recovery journey using innovative therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding standards to determine appropriate treatment pathways. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Implement crisis management strategies effectively to ensure client safety and stability during acute episodes. Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and treatment planning protocols. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring patient confidentiality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, or complex mental health needs. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems following clinical ethical guidelines. Engage in ongoing research and data collection efforts to enhance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes. Participate in case management activities, including patient assessment, discharge planning, and follow-up care coordination. Support clients through grief counseling, addiction counseling, or specialized therapies such as art therapy or dance/movement therapy when appropriate. Experience Licensed LPC or LCSW with current licensure in the respective state; additional certifications in trauma-informed care or behavioral therapies are preferred. Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics within outpatient or inpatient settings. Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-focused approaches. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or co-occurring mental health conditions is highly desirable. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards is essential. Prior telehealth experience ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines is required. Strong background in crisis intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and patient care coordination across diverse populations. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses such as PTSD, Geriatrics concerns, chronic pain counseling, and gender issues counseling enhances service delivery quality.
