Job Description
Our Healthy Families program is searching for a Family Support Specialist to provide home visiting services in Madison and Orange counties. We need individuals with great oral and written communication skills who can build relationships with our clients. Our families have voluntarily elected to participate in our home-based program to strengthen the parent-child relationship. The informal interview process will allow them to help the family identify their current strengths and develop goals. You'll complete child developmental screenings and support the family toward goal achievement thorough referrals to local services and providing information on a variety of topics including child development, safety, health and dental care. This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week. Our benefits include health, dental, life and long-term disability, retirement contribution, paid holidays, annual leave and sick leave. Hourly rate is $20.00 - $21.00. A high school diploma, valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
