Counselors will engage in virtual consultations, assessments, and therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual client needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough crisis assessments and interventions for individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring prompt and compassionate care. Provide immediate counseling support for clients in distress, employing individualized approaches that address their unique circumstances. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to ensure client safety during crisis situations. Deliver follow-up care, including creating and implementing personalized intervention plans and resources to facilitate ongoing recovery. Utilize advanced crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies to support clients effectively during high-stress situations. Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance crisis counseling capabilities and stay updated with best practices in mental health support. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Allenton, you will primarily focus on children, adolescents, and adults grappling with addiction and mental health challenges. Our clientele often experience traumatic situations, emotional crises, or suicidal thoughts, which require immediate and culturally sensitive support. You will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic interventions that lead to positive outcomes and life-changing transformations for these individuals. Qualifications A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution. Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credentials. A minimum of 3 years of recent, relevant experience in mental health counseling or crisis intervention. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients facing distress. Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care. A strong commitment to ethical standards and best practices in mental health counseling. Preferred Experience Advanced training or certifications in crisis counseling, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment modalities. Experience providing telehealth services or familiarity with digital mental health tools and platforms. A background in addiction counseling or interventions focused on substance use disorders. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 70,000
to 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
