Overview This is an advanced-level, paraprofessional position with the Family Services Unit serving children, youth, and families faced with child welfare or youth justice issues. The goal of maintaing the child in the home of their parents/caregivers or support timely reunification. The position assists families to improve household management, parenting, and coping skills, monitors in-home safety plans, and court orders. This position teams with social work staff, community professionals, schools, and foster parents. Duties Assess family needs through thorough interviews and home visits to develop personalized support plans. Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to de-escalate high-stress situations involving children and families. Connect/refer families with community resources such as childcare, healthcare, legal assistance, and behavioral health services. Support families dealing with child protective services issues, child welfare concerns, or legal matters related to family law. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, child & family services professionals, and community organizations to coordinate care effectively. Education/experience - Requirements associates degree or higher preferred in a human services field. minimum of two years' experience working with children and families is preferred.

Pay:

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
